At long last… The final book in the New York Times bestselling Hollows series by Kim Harrison!

Rachel Morgan’s come a long way from the clutzy runner of Dead Witch Walking. She’s faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witchs, and soul-eating demons. She’s crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day-walking demon. She’s lost friends and lovers and family, and an old enemy has become something much more.

But power demands responsibility, and world-changers must always pay a price. That time is now.

To save Ivy’s soul and the rest of the living vampires, to keep the demonic ever after and our own world from destruction, Rachel Morgan will risk everything.

ARCs don’t fail me now! I can’t WAIT to see how it all ends!  Now that we have a title, how do you guys feel about The Hollows coming to a close?

Are you ready for The Hollows to end?

  1. I thought the Undead Pool had a great ending and probably could have served as the series ender. I’m scared this last one is going to wreck everything.

    1. There’s still some stuff in there to tie up. I think this will be one of the best ones. My concern is that focus goes back to the vampires. After so much demon/elf focus I don’t know if I am as invested in that.

  2. Personally, I think the series has only gotten stronger with each book, with only one or two exceptions (WWBC, I’m looking at you). I think Kim Harrison excels at world building and characterization and I love the journey she’s taken all her characters on. And after being one of the bigger names in the genre for the past decade, I think Kim has more than earned her kudos. I will be terribly sad to say goodbye to these characters who all seem like old friends. That said, I’m hoping for more to the final book than just vampire stuff. I’m over them and am far more intrigued by the elf/demon stuff.

  3. I don’t know where my head was, but I thought the undead pool was the last one. lol, I feel like a tool now. I think in my head extra time had passed and they had all come out. I’ve been thoroughly mourning this series being over and I’m doing it prematurely. It’s like christmas! One more book still!

  4. I can only say that I identify with Rachel so much (having naturally curly and totally untamable hair)… have a friend who reminds me a lot of Ivy… and wish with all my heart that Jenks or one of his brood would appear in my home. Not to mention that, in true Celtic form, Ceridwyn’s name is pronounced exactly like mine (Kerri)… I’ve already been saddened by losses, to lose all of them is going to be heartbreaking. I know – as a writer, myself – that it’s hard to live with the same characters for years upon years, and there’s a strong desire to stretch away from them and move on to other things. But we will miss them, when they go. Just please, pretty please with sugar on it (and blackberry herbal tea on the side)… leave a wee opening for a “maybe there’s another one in here” story? 🙂
